About This Spot

Stepping into Restaurant Ulysse is like finding a little corner of Greece nestled in the heart of Anderlecht. The moment you cross the threshold on Rue du Serment, a gentle warmth welcomes you—a soothing contrast to the bustle outside. The space carries a certain quiet charm, where time seems to slow just enough for conversations to linger and flavors to unfold without rush.

The atmosphere here is unpretentious and intimate, balancing a cozy domestic feeling with the spirited soul of traditional Greek hospitality. The interior might strike some as unpolished, yet it’s this straightforward, lived-in character that adds to the authenticity, making every visit feel like a shared family meal rather than a formal night out. Soft light and thoughtful seating invite moments of calm and connection, whether you’re tucked away for a quiet dinner or gathered with friends to savor something new.

Dining here means inviting a lively assortment of tastes that evoke the Mediterranean sun—plates arrive with generous portions that encourage sharing and discovery. From smoky grilled meats unfolding their subtle char to mezes that tease the palate with whispers of herbs and spice, each dish feels handcrafted and deeply familiar. Amid the textures and aromas, you can sense the pride in traditions passed down through generations, brought to life on each table.

While the pace of service leans into the unhurried—reflecting perhaps a focus on care over speed—it complements the setting's gentle rhythm, allowing guests to soak in the moment. It’s a place where you can settle in, savor your meal, and appreciate the quiet joy found in honest food and warm, human moments.

Food is good, price is fair, service is kind BUT slow. They have many orders coming in for take away and the service inside is a little neglected. (Perhaps, it is due to covid)

Tacky but charming interior. The food is really good. Very fair prices and you get large portions!
